AGE

Watching a doc on Haight Ashbury and Jack Kerouac was on at 46 (my age) and I said "I'm 46 and I don't look that old" and Dale said I look older. I cried inside for an hour till I made a comment about. She then said she was fucking with me. So I cried a little more. I guess I am sensitive and a little vain. Damn my brother was right!

Vacation

Always hard for me to disconnect from work and home life so that I can enjoy a vacation. And I finally did! A day & a half before we have to pack up. 

Birthday Introspective

Yes it's my Birthday. And I am embracing the truth of Fucked upped-ness of us all!!! (Disclaimer I'm a bit tipsy) bitches!!!!

Reflection

So I was reminiscing with a college friend that I  haven't seen in 22 years. By chance he was waylaid in Atlanta and we were more than happy to put him up for the night. We both talked about life in college and all the time since. It's all just came gushing out. And thought, Did our parents go throught the same shit as us? I mean we all have had good times and rough patches, but overall. Maybe I just didn't realize or didn't have that perspective as a child. Then I look at my father, my future and my Son, my past and think, Oh Shit!

Big Brother

My brother Paul introduced me to this when I was in elementary school. And it's still one of my best comfort food. 

New Parent

Learned more about children from my Dog. Think about it. Wait for it ..... "A Good Dog is a Tired Dog".  Well you can't argue that one!
